‘Achikazi’, or 'autumnal breeze' in the Okinawa dialect, was inspired by the original reference fabric found by Robert in 2019. Its design is created in the Bingata style, a tradit ional stencilled dyeing technique from the 19th C. Similar fabrics were used to decorate kimonos with colours and motifs. Show more
