Produced by husband-and-wife team Juanfa Suarez and Cecilia Duran, Rocamadre delivers this white wine made from 25-year-old Chardonnay vines grown in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in stony soil with calcium carbonate within the subregion of Paraje Altamira. Fermented naturally with slight skin-contact for 7-10 days, this wine is aged half in concrete and half in oak for 12 months and bottled unfiltered. Mineral-driven, this Chardonnay offers notes of ripe citrus, white peach, crisp acidity, and remarkable salinity. With a powerful and long finish, this wine pairs fantastically with mushroom risotto, shrimp scampi, and grilled chicken salads.
