This piece of amethyst is one that I personally mined in Bancroft Ontario. I did some basic shaping and placed it in my rock tumbler, allowing it to polish and shine over 4 differe nt grits, polishes and burnishing. Once out of the rock tumbler I wire wrapped it in silver wire which I hand polished to give the wire and the rock a shiny finish.
