It is best to use a corner or side of the picture. 2 Paste this to one side/edge of the art paper. 3 Place the larger part of the picture that is not pasted down, above the art paper. This will be your guide to continuing and reproducing the patterns and lines of the rock. 4 Begin by using the darkest colour you can see in your print out …in most cases this will be black. Start from the edge of the cut out and continue lines across the rest of the art paper. Use the sheet above as your point of reference. Ensure all the darkest areas and lines have been drawn in first. 5 Gradually work your way to other colours you can see in the printout. You may wish to exaggerate these slightly for more effective artwork. 6 Using the lightest colour at the end fill in all the white gaps. 7 Display on a black background around the room with information about the rocks being studied.
