While walking the limestone karst of Gun B each at low tide, I found this weathered formation. From my standing perspective, looking through the hole in the rock revealed only the distant, dark horizon. However, by shifting my angle and looking into the still, crystal-clear tidal pool trapped within the stone, the vibrant blue sky and passing clouds suddenly appeared. It was a moment where the earth provided a mirror to see what was otherwise hidden from view. The Composition This photograph centers on the concept of "hidden symmetry."
