Rock Slide Engineering’s all new 3rd Generation Step Slider takes things to the next level when it comes to fully functional power steps for your Wrangler or Gladiator! This trail rated rock slider features an integrated power step for easy access in and out of your Jeep, while also providing excellent off-road protection for your rocker panels. An additional two more inches has been added on the back end of the steps providing better and safer access to the rear doors. Smart motor technology eliminates the gas strut from the internals of the step, increasing motor longevity. In return this keeps your step deploying and retracting consistently no matter what the weather conditions. Sleep mode has been integrated to help minimize battery drainage issues from previous generations. The step deploys 12 inches down from the body of the Slider when the door is opened. When closed the step automatically retracts sitting flush with the body of the step slider. Crafted from extremely durable 10-gauge steel construction that is protected by a state-of-the-art automated powder coat system to acid etch the raw base material in preparation for the textured black topcoat. Stainless steel and aluminum internals help to prevent rusting. This plug and play system utilizes the factory mounting points for a no-drill installation. Using a stand-alone wire harness requires no splicing or rewiring whatsoever. This allows you to retain your manufacturer warranty after installation.
