Rock Solid Daylily ‘Rock Solid’ daylily is hard to beat. If you like eyed or edged daylilies, reblooming daylilies, or if you like daylilies that perform well throughout the season, this daylily is a perfect choice. Small, 4 3/4″ cream blooms boast a plum-violet eyezone and edge and grow on scapes around 27″ tall in our East Tennessee garden. Nice rebloom means you’ll get to see these lovely blooms off and on throughout the season. Rock Solid is an early to mid season daylily which means we typically see its first bloom around the first of June. If you are to our north, you’ll see it a few weeks after we do. If you live to our south, you’ll see it a couple of weeks before us. Good rebloom means you’ll see these blooms off and on throughout the season. As a dormant daylily, Rock Solid is best grown in gardens that receive a sustained winter cold period, like those in zones 8 and lower.
