Adjusting rear weight bias for changing track conditions is an important tuning aid. And adding weight to the rear arms can be doubly helpful. There are a variety of methods such as brass hubs, brass arm inserts, etc., but you cannot do this just prior to a race. "Rocket" Ron Free thinks there must be a faster way. This weight mount works on Custom Works, GFRP, etc. based adjustable rear arms. The mount may be used on both rear arms if you wish, as it fits on the front side of either arm. Removing one screw can install or remove weights (1/16" hex); this quick-change feature is very valuable when making final adjustments during pre-race warm up. Using carbon fiber construction, this mount is attached to the rear arm as shown for a solid connection with two stainless screws (4-40). One screw is used to retain the weight (4-40) to the mount; multiple holes in the mount allow you to slide the weight in and out for more or less effect. Any 'kit' option does not include any other parts except as detailed in description. The weights are: Small Brass: 9.3g, 0.33 oz. Large Brass:18.7g, 0.66 oz. This mount also works with TLR331041 brass weight kit, which already has the mount hole.
