It provided dismounted soldiers and vehicle crews with encrypted GPS positioning using the military's Precise Positioning Service (PPS). The PLGR saw widespread use through the Gulf War, Somalia, the Balkans, and the early stages of OIF and OEF before being replaced by the DAGR. Its distinctive yellow-green housing made it immediately recognizable on any late Cold War to early GWOT US military custom figure build.3D printed products may require minor post-processing.
