Once rooted, plants are easily transplantable to any other growing method or medium. If moving into the larger rockwool blocks we offer, you will need to use any of the 'small hole' blocks with the 25mm cubes and 'large hole' for the 36mm. Supplied in trays for ease of use, the 25mm come in trays of 150 and the 36mm come in trays of 77. For best results we recommend all rockwool be soaked for 24 hours in water that has a pH between 5.5-5.8, after which they should be allowed to drain sufficiently before use. Do not be tempted to squeeze excess water out of them as this will ruin their structure and negatively effect how well oxygen can enter the root-zone. Consider adding a dose of root stimulator or seedling nutrient to this water to ensure fast, healthy growth of your new plants!
