OUR INSPIRATION The inspiration for our brand, Maria Rita Valdez was the granddaughter of Luis and Maria Quintero, two of the original settlers of Pueblo de Los Angeles. In 1838 Maria was granted 4,539 acres that became her home known as El Rancho Rodeo de las Aguas, which translates to “The Ranch of the Gathering Waters.” AUTHENTIC, BEAUTIFULLY BALANCED TEQUILA The concept of terroir, the unique qualities of a place, serves as our founding principle. Rodeo de las Aguas Tequila honors tradition, an artisanal approach, that reflects a deep connection to the natural essence of the mineral-rich red soil of the Southern Los Altos de Jalisco highlands.
