Rodney Coriz Jacla Necklace - this beautiful piece was crafted by the artist, Rodney Coriz. Rodney Coriz comes from a long line of Santa Domingo artist, his mother Nestoria taught him the art and then he also went to the Indian School of Art in Santa Fe, NM. This piece is a traditional jacla and is the engagement piece commissioned by the Navajo to the Santa Domingo artist. It is shell with beautiful spiny oyster orange shell. Rodney find all of his own stones and shells, he also cuts all of his own pieces. Something that can be passed down from generation to generation. Show more
