This 72-piece wooden puzzle features Varangians - the Nordic river pirate cousins of the Vikings. The painting is by Nicholas Roerich and was painted in 1901. The 72 pieces include a number of river-themed whimsy pieces designed by Seattle artist Tara Flannery (click on the small image below the big image above to see example puzzle pieces). This puzzle has a straight edge and is easier than average. All our puzzles are laser-cut 1/4" thick wood, and made in USA.
