RØG, meaning "smoke" in Danish, is a lightly smoked whisky that b rings together single malt and malted rye in a distinctly Danish expression of smoke. This whisky is smooth and round, with a delicate smoke, meant to capture a style that is composed rather than dominant ‒ designed to complement, not overpower. Rooted on the West Coast of Denmark, where grain fields and coastal air shapes the land. Designed with simplicity and intention at its core, Stauning RØG is crafted from locally grown rye and barley: 100% floor malted in the distillery, double distilled in our 24 small direct-fired copper pot stills, matured in American oak and finished in Madeira casks.
