In Rogue Ops the sinister terrorist organisation Omega 19 has recently acquired an arsenal of deadly Cold War era weapons and need to be stopped before they take their campaign to the next level. Step forward Nikki Connors, a highly trained counter-terrorist operative and ex-Green Beret whose husband and child were murdered by Omega 19. Nikki Connors possesses both the skills to blend into any situation, any environment, any time, and the desire for revenge that make her lethally effective and dangerous. Even though Nikki has an extensive array of weapons at her disposal, Rogue Ops places the emphasis on stealth over direct confrontation and mission success relies heavily on going undetected. Players can hide in the shadows, seek refuge in environmental objects, avoid leaving blood, and peer round corners to avoid being spotted by the numerous sentries and guards. Those players who opt for the gung-ho approach may achieve limited success but with limited ammunition and highly intelligent AI only the sharpest of shooters will survive Rogue Ops' eight gruelling and extensive missions. Eight challenging missions will put players to the test, each containing new objectives, characters and obstacles. As Nikki interacts with fellow team members and foes, Rogue Ops provides an engaging and often sharp-tongued dialogue, giving additional life to the storyline and advancing the plot as players delve deeper into gameplay. The game's soundtrack and outstanding audio effects set an additional tone for Rogue Ops, immersing players deep into the world of government operations as they move from mission to mission.
