Limited edition double 140 gram purple marbled colour vinyl, housed in a rigid gloss laminate gatefold sleeve with holographic foil print. Bridging emotional heft with effortlessness, the cryptic with the carefree has always been Roisin Murphy's talent but never has it been more wonderfully executed than here. With the brilliant DJ Koze at the helm, Hit Parade touches on everything from iridescent funk, dashes of ambient and timeless hip hop production to a mid-section of the most euphoric and epic dance odysseys Roisin has ever put her name to. No matter the stylistic guise, no matter the tone (searing and forthright, dreamy and elevated, cool and supple) it sounds like a bright new blueprint for 21st century dance music/post-disco/soul/etc.
