This joints outer shell is machined to 1.795 in. o.d. with a flanged edge and is designed to be driven into the bushing bore on the gear case casting side of the TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ Dana 30 or 44 frontend housings to replace the stock rubber bushing. Features a 1/2 in. thru bolt hole and includes a 1/2 in. greasable bolt.Rock Jock Johnny Joint rod ends offer 30 degrees (up to 40 degrees on some units) of unrestricted movement in any direction, as compared to 22 degrees on common Heim joints. They come with high-density "tough 88" urethane bushings that are very durable and impervious to weather. Higher density, one-piece bushings are used in narrow-bodied joints to handle heavy load applications, such as traction bars. All Johnny Joints are greasable for long-lasting durability and quiet operation—and are fully rebuildable.
