THE GILT EXPLORER The Rolex Explorer is one of the most instantly recognisable and iconic watches from the brand’s sports line. This beautiful condition reference 1016 is a very collectible, especially when fitted with its original gilt dial. The lume on the 3-6-9 is still very clean, with some minor tritium loss and the gilt lettering is in unmarked condition – it’s stunning! The hands match the dial perfectly and the whole effect is topped off with a cool domed acrylic crystal. The case is in very good condition with strong lugs and the bracelet has minimal stretch.
