Our Perspective: The Datejust is one of those watches Rolex never really had to reinvent since the 40s, and for good reason. The Ref. 78274 is the 31mm model, and it lands right in that sweet spot on smaller wrists, balanced and easy to wear every day. The stainless steel case is paired with a white gold fluted bezel and a gloss white dial with applied Roman numerals, keeping it clean and classic. The Jubilee bracelet ties it all together the way a Datejust should- comfortable, flexible, and instantly recognizable. This one dates to 1999 and is in sharp unpolished condition, the kind you don’t come across often anymore, especially this clean across the case, bezel, and bracelet. It also still has its partial caseback sticker and comes with its original matching serialized hangtag. Partial original caseback sticker still visible. Watch has passed a pressure test to 3 bar. Strap/Bracelet: Original Rolex stainless steel Jubilee bracelet has 16 links and fits a wrist size between 6.5-6.75" or smaller. There are light scratches and signs of wear on the bracelet and the clasp. Dial/Crystal/Hands: Original Rolex Dial, hands and crystal are in mint condition with no visible damage. Movement: Automatic Rolex Caliber 2235 is in beautiful aesthetic condition and is running strong and within spec with a 5-position average of +3.8 S/D | 252° AMP | 0.2MS BE.
