Conventional nuts, no matter how well lubricated, grip the strings as they slide over, causing you to go out of tune. The Roller Nut by Hipshot gives each string its own free wheeling roller which means your strings glide over -- keeping you in tune. That's why it is essential to use the Roller Nut (and Grip-Lock Tuners) for installations of the DoubleShot. Includes screws for mounting nut to fret board.
