The Roller Squeegee solves fibrillation — the fuzzy texture you get when the mesh lifts garment fibers as it releases from the underbase. Those raised fibers wreck the resolution and smoothness of every color printed on top.How it worksAfter you flash the underbase, roll the Roller Squeegee over it to matte the fibers down into a smooth, hard surface. Colors printed on that surface come out sharp and detailed, with a soft hand — close to the effect of a heat press, right on the machine.Includes a PTFE sheetEvery Roller Squeegee ships with a PTFE sheet (shipped flat in the bottom of the box). The PTFE is what delivers the smooth, uniform finish. You can also apply the sheet to your own print-ready frame: peel the backing, stick it to the underside of an emulsion-coated, dried frame, and tape all four edges to secure it.Sizing The listed size is the roller portion only — outer dimension is 2" larger. 16" roller requires a 23" x 31" frame. Machines using 20" x 24" frames should order the 14" roller. FitmentAvailable for most automatic presses, with a manual version too. Order the roller cut for your machine — also sold in a 16" 5-pack for equipping a full carousel.
