A landscape of varied terrain with sheep grazing in the foreground and behind a low, gently rising hillside. The foreground is loosely worked, with broken colour and areas of exposed ground, leading back to softer fields and a higher line of trees. Painted in layered strokes, with a varied surface throughout. The palette is muted — greens, ochres and soft pinks — with darker passages through the centre giving the composition structure. The scale and lovely colours make it easy to place, working well in quieter, neutral interiors or as part of a mixed hang. Oil on panel signed by artist Dagny Schönberg (Sweden, 1908-1997) and dated 1971. Dimensions 48x38.5cm framed. Condition: overall good vintage condition. There are two dents at the top of the frame, either side, as shown in the photos.
