Extremely rare unrevised proof of Sam Shepard's Rolling Thunder Logbook. Shepard (1943-2017), an accomplished actor, writer, playwright, and director, toured with Bob Dylan on the Rolling Thunder Tour in 1975. His subsequent book on the experience, Rolling Thunder Logbook, was published in 1978. This is an Unrevised Proof of the First Edition and pre-dates publication. The estimated publication date listed on the cover is August 1977; the book was published by Viking Press. Shepard was the recipient of numerous awards, garnering Obies, Guggenheim Fellowship, Academy Awards, PEN Award, etc. The proof is in very good condition with some tanning. Show more
