Chamaemelum nobile Low-growing, spreading plant, with creeping rhizomes. This evergreen variety of chamomile forms a thick, steppable mat of 6 inch tall foliage that flowers in the summer. Sweetly scented. Direct seed or transplant into the garden after all danger of frost has passed. Roman chamomile will need full sun and well-draining soil. Water well to ensure good germination.
