A single responsive and poppy Carbon HotRod in the nose and tail of the board for stability at speed and while turning. By wrapping the HotRod in an additional sleeve of Carbon you get additional pop and responsiveness that only Carbon can offer. These full woven flax constructed impact plates covers and reinforces the insert pack of the board and are designed to make boards more durable. They help absorb impact and add increased strength without changing the flex pattern of the board.
