Our Khoisan grade rooibos gemaalcha (gemaal being Afrikaans for milled) (i.e. rooibos powder) is a wild varietal (Aspalathus linearis x Bossie tea) foraged and hand-harvested 650-800m above sea level from the private nature reserve within the Blomfontein Farm, owned by the Three Fountains Trust (established by the Heiveld Cooperative). 'Bossie Tea' is a slow growing perennial varietal (surviving wild fires and re-sprouting from its roots), which is harvested on a rotational basis every second year for ultimate sustainability. The rooibos is then milled in the UK to a specific particle size to create velvety and creamy lattes. This wild varietal brews to a unique colour, and is delicately earthy and smoky, with subtle sweet notes (the only caffeine-free latte in the dark/coffee/cocoa/tea flavour spectrum) - the most delicious caffeine free latte in town! We are proud to introduce wild rooibos (rooicha™) lattes to the world! Nutritional Information Typical Values Per 100g Per 3g Serving % of NRV per serving Energy 983 kJ 29.49 kJ
