Room blessings are designed to hang on the wall, by a light switch, on a door jamb, over a bed, anywhere a special blessing is appreciated. Adapted from the wonderful tradition of Mezuzah and Mezuzah covers, in which a blessing is placed on each doorpost and gate of a home. While the traditional Jewish Mezuzah requires a small parchment inscribed with specific prayers, our piece serves as a reminder of our many blessings and have a space to keep a prayer scroll or special note in the back if desired (attach with screws if using scroll).
