The Rooster symbolizes vigilance, courage, and the arrival of a new day across various cultures. The "Gallic Rooster" became an unofficial symbol of France, representing piety, hop e, and bravery. It has been used by the French Resistance as a symbol of resilience. This bright and happy pitcher features 2 roosters with a sun carved on the front of the spout. It is hand-painted and hand-carved in wood-cut, sgraffito fashion. This pitcher is functional and holds water, juice or your choice of beverage.
