Please note that with many natural fibers, Natural Flax can have a distinct 'ropey' scent - some love it and some hate it! Bear this in mind when selecting your bookends from our range. If you are wanting to completely avoid the scent of natural rope, we offer a synthetic alternative in our Polyhemp option (looks very much like natural flax, but made using synthetic fibers), or an ecru cotton option.
