The Trafalgar Marine U-Bow fender is made from black polypropylene rope woven around a thick rope core. The core is made from four thick polypropylene rope sections bound together and is guaranteed not to degrade over time. The rope is made to our specification and has a 14 mm medium lay, direct film construction. This U-Bow fender is meant to be attached to the front or bow of the boat. The fender attaches to the boat by three chain fittings that are interlocked and pass through the middle of the rope core. U Bow fenders are more suitable for wide beam canal boats and barges where the bow is to wide for a standard V Bow fender. You can also purchase D Shackles to attach your fenders.
