Spanish for ‘Blue Rose’. This is one of my more elaborate paintings, I have hand paint brushed detail filigree in Metallic Gold. I wanted to create semi realism within her face and ornate inked sleave. To contrast against the lineal realism/control I then celebrate and finish with bold free spontaneous brush strokes creating her hair, skull and background.
