(Clematis) A free flowering bloomer, Rosalie™ Clematis is sure to 'wow' you. Blooming in June through September, Rosalie™ starts off with deep bi colored rose blooms. As the flowers keep coming, Rosalie™ takes on a vast array of pink shades that as the flowers fade turn to lavender pink shades. The deep burgundy anthers create a stunning contrast to each flower. Standing up to 7 feet tall, it adds vertical interest to your landscape or gardens. Planted in full sun to part shade is where she feels most at home. You will want to keep the roots well shaded by either planting shorter plants around the roots or by adding a layer of mulch. Rosalie™ clematis is a part of prune group 3 which means it blooms on the new year’s growth. It is recommended to prune the main stems of the plant back in February or March until they are about 6 inches tall. You’ll also want to clean the plant up by removing any dead or weak branches. Pair this clematis with other colorful clematis on the same trellis for a dazzling vertical display. Flower color may vary based on the environment.
