Lovely Wave Crest Porcelain Wall Plaque, by C.F. Monroe. It’s identified as a Monroe Gem no. 30 in the 1902-03 catalog. Made in France. It features a lush deep blue border with enamel pink roses on opaque white surrounded by an embossed metal scrolling border. Disclaimer: I believe at one time there was a bottom piece to the border, but it’s amazing as-is. I acquired it while sourcing in the Texas Hill Country. Pieces like this are why I love Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor.
