In skincare, “purging” refers to a temporary phase where your skin breaks out after you start using a new product, especially one with active ingredients or exfoliants. These ingredients speed up cell turnover, which means they push out impurities, dead skin cells, and oils trapped in your pores to the surface more quickly. As a result, you might see more pimples or blemishes for a short time. This process can feel frustrating, but it’s a sign that the product is working to clear out your skin. Purging usually lasts a few weeks, and once it’s over, you should start seeing clearer, healthier skin. Directions: How to Use the Serum For Your Face: 1. Wash your face really well (our foaming face wash works great for this). 2. Put a few drops of the serum onto your clean hands. Remember: Don’t touch the dropper to your face! 3. Gently rub the serum onto damp skin in circles, especially on your nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks (or any other spots you want to focus on). 4. After the serum, you can use a light face cream if you like. 5. Do this every morning and night for the best results. For Your Body: 1. Put a few drops of the serum into your hands. 2. Rub it onto problem areas, using gentle circles. 3. Try to do this at least twice a day.
