Rosemary seeds have sporadic germination, so it is best to use a little more seed than normal. Press the seeds into damp compost, but do not cover them, as they need light to germinate. Germination can take between 2 and 5 weeks. Keep moist throughout. When the seedlings establish, thin to leave only the strongest one in each cell/pot.
