Before I had many shaft looms, I had my rigid heddle loom and began experimenting with what I could create using two (or more) heddles. Rosequartz began as a study in two-heddle twill structure - an exploration of a classic diamond twill rendered in a gentle, tonal palette. Light and dark rose threads intersect with a pale lavender weft, forming a geometric pattern that’s precise yet softened by the subtle shifts in color. The result is a fabric that balances structure with gentleness - quietly expressive and a pleasure to hold. Fully lined with natural cotton, Rosequartz features an 9" zipper closure with a handmade tassel pull, a genuine leather wrist strap for added ease, and an Otterwoven hand-sewn leather tag. Machine sewn with care to preserve the integrity of the handwoven cloth, it’s designed to hold your essentials while honoring its handmade origin.
