Rosette Nebula located 5,200 light years from Earth and 130 light years in diameter. The colour is from the rich hydrogen alpha and hydrogen beta gas. Imaged by me over 2 hours (33 frames x 220 second for each frame) using an Esprit 100ED triplet refractor telescope on a Losmandy G11 equatorial mounting.
