Having been taught initially by the legendary Highland piper John D. Burgess, MBE he progressed to join The Royal Dragoon Guards. He was Pipe Major on the Classical Brit Award-Winning album 'Journey'. He then retired from the army to become a professional musician. Twisted Tradition shows Ross's multi-instrumental skills with some help from Iain McKinna (Bass, guitars and drums), Kirsty Anderson (Vocals) and Simon Lowden (Bass).
