Helical Rotor pumps require the Rotor and Stator (wet-end) to be replaced as time goes on, this time frame depends mostly on water quality (ie sediment/sand particles in the water) , although excellent water quality will still wear the rubber over time (much like the tyres eventually wear on your vehicle).
