Intense Opening Sensation This stainless steel spider gag creates an unmistakable and revealing oral presentation that transforms both the visual and physical dynamics of bondage p lay. Unlike traditional ball gags that fill the mouth, this design uses a circular metal ring with strategically placed connection points that hold the mouth wide open while drawing the corners of the lips back, creating the distinctive "spider" aesthetic that gives this gag its name. The ring itself is constructed from polished stainless steel, providing a rigid, unyielding structure that maintains consistent mouth positioning throughout wear. This smooth metal surface is body-safe, non-porous, and easy to clean—critical considerations for any oral bondage equipment. The circular opening measures approximately 1.75 inches in diameter, a size designed to create substantial opening without causing excessive jaw strain during shorter sessions. Secure Leather Strap System The gag attaches via genuine leather straps finished in classic black, creating visual contrast against the gleaming steel. These straps connect to the ring at two points positioned at roughly the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions on the ring's circumference. This dual-connection design distributes tension evenly across the cheeks, preventing the ring from rotating or shifting during wear. Each strap features multiple adjustment holes, allowing the wearer to customize the fit across a wide range of head sizes. The buckle closures are made from matching steel hardware that complements the ring's finish. A small D-ring attachment point sits at the top of the assembled gag, providing an optional leash point or visual detail that emphasizes control and restraint. Physical Considerations The spider gag's open-mouth design creates several distinct physical sensations and practical considerations. The wearer cannot swallow normally with the mouth held open, which leads to natural drooling—a feature that some find intensifies the vulnerability and submission elements of the experience. This also means sessions should be monitored and kept to reasonable durations to prevent excessive discomfort. The metal ring creates firm pressure points where it contacts the teeth and inner lips. While this pressure is distributed around the circumference rather than concentrated in one spot, users should be aware that prolonged wear can cause jaw fatigue. Starting with shorter sessions allows the wearer to build tolerance and understand their comfort limits with this particular style of gag. Storage and Presentation The gag arrives in a burgundy zippered storage case with a black velvet-lined interior, providing both protection and discreet storage. The case features two molded compartments: one specifically shaped to hold the circular gag with its attached ring, and a flat section for the leather straps when detached. This organization prevents the metal from scratching or the leather from creasing during storage. The case itself measures approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and includes a fabric hanging loop, making it easy to store in a drawer or cabinet while keeping the gag clean and ready for use. Safety and Maintenance Before each use, inspect the leather straps for signs of wear, particularly where they attach to the metal ring—stress points that experience the most tension. Check that all buckle hardware operates smoothly and that the ring itself shows no sharp edges or burrs that could cause injury. Clean the stainless steel ring thoroughly after each session with warm water and mild soap, or use a toy cleaner specifically formulated for metal implements. The ring can also be sanitized with isopropyl alcohol. The leather straps should be wiped down with a damp cloth and leather conditioner applied periodically to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking. Never leave someone wearing this gag unattended or in a position where they cannot signal distress. Establish clear non-verbal communication methods before use, as speech will be significantly impaired. Keep safety scissors nearby to quickly release the straps if needed.
