One cold Sunday afternoon in 2015, Lightning.Bolt, a wheelchair using rapper, navigates a not so but very typical soup kitchen meal service in New York City. Roughly Speaking is a verbal orchestra about being stuck, the struggle for survival, connection, and making it through one more day. The play highlights the existential juxtaposition between finding a way out, and finding a way in.
