The vent's flange allows for an easy and secure installation without the risk of falling out, while most other mini louvers fall out over time. How it works: Soffit vents help control moisture and rotting problems common to eave and overhang areas by providing needed intake airflow for exhaust vents. They also help provide proper temperature balance and energy performance. The 6-inch round soffit vent is made of durable, corrosion-resistant aluminum and powder-coated white. Each mini louver has a screen inside to prevent insects from entering. The round soffit vent will allow for optimal ventilation when paired with proper exhaust ventilation. Installation: Mini Louvers will seal existing rafters or bird block vent holes, maximizing airflow while protecting against rodent and insect invasion. However, if there are no pre-existing bird block holes, use a hole saw drill bit to cut holes to the size of the Mini Louver Vent. Lightly tap in the vents to pressure fit.
