Using this loom, even young children can play to their hearts' content and easily master the ancient craft of weaving. Suitable for children aged 4 and up. Includes a needle, 52 mm (20.47 inch). One would be surprised at the number of possibilities for handwork with a simple weaving loom such as this. Lime (otherwise known as basswood) from Europe. Small is 22 cm (8.66 inches) diameter. Large is 27 cm diameter. A variety of threads and yarns may work with such a loom. May we suggest a very thick thread or string, or embroidery floss for the weft (structure that forms the radii of the loom), and then one may also mix threads and yarns of varying textures and thicknesses even in the circular weaving work.
