RowaPhos from D-D is a ferric hydroxide media that binds phosphate and silicate in reef and freshwater tanks. It holds about 25 g of phosphate per kg of media and does not leach back once it is exhausted. Sizes: 100ml removes 3 ppm from about 380 L (100 US gal), 250ml from about 950 L, 500ml from about 1,900 L, 1 L from about 3,800 L, and 5 L from about 17,000 L. Keep it damp with the lid on. Do not rinse unless you are fluidising it, and do not sprinkle it in the display. Put a small amount between two layers of filter wool in a canister, or run it in a media reactor, and replace it often rather than loading a large batch.
