One of the most iconic ballet performances of all time, this features Margot Fonteyn, leading the Royal Ballet showcase at the Royal Opera House in 1960. Featuring three performanc es of Margot Fonteyn and her partner, Michael Somes, they performed for Stravinsky's 'The Firebird', Act II of Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lake' and Henze's 'Ondine'. The choreographer, Sir Frederick Ashton, who was behind this performance, had created the title role, specifically for her. This 3 sheet poster is incredible, with stunning artwork and bold, monotone design, perfectly showcasing Fonteyn with vivid brush strokes and abstract paintwork. Any ballet fan out there would be lucky to have this incredible piece. We have this poster listed as near mint - condition due to folds and some creasing, but this is such an amazing poster that you cannot go wrong!
