Twisted Shank Treble Hook. High-Grade Carbon Steel + Proprietary Alloy. Chemically Sharpened & Honed. Heat Treated for Strength & Flexibility. Short Shank Profile. 6-Pack, 25, 50 & 100 Bulk. The Royal Hooks ROYAL Twisted Treble Hook is built as a premium replacement treble hook with a design advantage standard short shank trebles don’t have: a twisted shank. The rotation of the shank through the water column improves hydrodynamic glide and increases hookup percentage by orienting the hook points at an angle that drives into the fish’s mouth more consistently on the strike. The hooks are made from high-grade carbon steel with a proprietary alloy blend for exceptional strength, chemically sharpened and then honed for a razor-sharp cutting tip that penetrates with minimal force, and heat treated for the flexibility that keeps fish pinned through head shakes and jumps without the hook straightening or snapping. Available in sizes #10 through 2/0 and in 6-packs, 25-count, 50-count, and 100-count bulk for lure builders and anglers replacing trebles in volume. What Makes the Twisted Shank DifferentStandard short shank trebles have a straight shank that sits parallel to the lure body. The ROYAL Twisted Treble’s shank is rotated through a partial twist before the hook bend, which does two things: it improves the hook’s hydrodynamic profile as it moves through the water (reducing drag and turbulence around the hook body), and it offsets the hook points slightly from the plane of the lure body, increasing the angle at which the points contact and drive into the fish’s mouth on a strike. The result is a higher hookup percentage on the same strikes that a standard treble would miss or fail to fully penetrate.Construction High-Grade Carbon Steel + Proprietary Alloy — Royal Hooks’ proprietary alloy blend produces a hook wire that is stronger and more flexible than standard carbon steel trebles at the same gauge; stronger wire means more hookset force before the hook bends; more flexibility means the hook absorbs the shock of a big fish running and thrashing without the wire fatiguing and snapping at the bend Chemically Sharpened + Honed — chemical sharpening etches the hook point to a precise needle tip; honing after chemical sharpening refines the tip further for a razor edge that drives through tough mouth tissue with minimal force; the combination produces a sharper starting point than chemical sharpening alone and maintains that edge through the first several fish before resharpening is needed Heat Treated — heat treatment after forming sets the crystalline structure of the steel for maximum strength and optimal flexibility; a heat-treated hook resists straightening under sustained pressure and has the spring-back flexibility to absorb sudden shock loads from jumping fish and hard hooksets without snapping Short Shank Profile — the short shank keeps the hook body close to the lure for a natural profile and reduces leverage on the hook point during the fight; the twisted design adds the performance advantages of an offset hook without extending the shank length Best Uses Lure Replacement Trebles — replace factory trebles on crankbaits, jerkbaits, topwater lures, and hard swimbaits with ROYAL Twisted Trebles for a hookup percentage upgrade over OEM hooks Lure Building — the 25, 50, and 100 bulk pack options make ROYAL Twisted Trebles the practical choice for custom lure builders who need consistent quality trebles in volume at a per-hook cost that pencils out Tournament Prep — re-hook all your reaction bait lures before a tournament with fresh ROYAL Twisted Trebles; the chemically sharpened and honed tip is at its sharpest out of the pack, and the twisted shank gives you the hookup percentage advantage when every bite counts Size Guide#10 (smallest, ultralight lures) • #8 • #6 • #4 • #2 • #1 • 1/0 • 2/0 (largest, big swimbaits and magnum lures)Pack Options6-Pack • 25 Bulk • 50 Bulk • 100 BulkSpecs Style: Treble hook, twisted shank Shank: Short shank Material: High-grade carbon steel + proprietary alloy Point: Chemically sharpened + honed Treatment: Heat treated Sizes: #10, #8, #6, #4, #2, #1, 1/0, 2/0 Pack Options: 6-pack, 25, 50, 100 bulk Brand: Royal Hooks Online In stock and ready to ship.
