This Royal standard typewriter dates to the 1930s or 40s, back when a machine like this was built to sit on a desk for forty years. The keys and the carriage still glide, and the t ype comes out in a bold elegant script that no printer will ever give you. The ribbon is missing, so you will want to order one, but the side glass is intact, which is the part that usually goes.
