The new RS115 and RS115T are the latest and lightest Revsound single 15 cabinets. Loaded with a Celestion Neo 15 they are not your dad's 15. The driver does what a 15" driver does with the speed and responsiveness of a 12". The voice of the BN15-400X reminds me of the old JBL D140 which I loved except for the power handling; 100 watts and at 101 they said goodbye. The BN400X is conservatively rated at 400 watts AES and has a thick, rich, and articulate voice. The BN300X has a totally different voice. It's Getty Lee tone period. Hooked it up to the rs115. Played through it set flat w/ my fender jazz bass 4 w/ flats, and then my shen sb300 upright bass w/ spirocore Weich. In the name of all that is holy this cab is amazing. The cleanest most articulate 15" cab I've ever heard, does it project? Like a gale force wind. I expected all this w/ the fender, but the upright???? I've never heard it sound better through an amp (realist lifeline btw), including my mint GK MB150E. So then I used my 77 jazz w/ rounds for some shlaparooney (ed friedland :) and some back pup Jaco burpitating (mine) . Holy schnikey Batman! Then I began tweaking, and this cab handled everything w/ ease. Admittedly, I did not push it super hard yet because it's a new speaker, but I'm using it for an outdoor blues gig tomorrow.
