Tool-Free Tile Leveling RUBI® CYCLONE Caps are reusable components of the CYCLONE tile leveling system, designed to help prevent lippage and maintain a flat, consistent surface during floor and wall tile installation. The caps install by hand without a tightening tool and are recommended for tile formats 12" x 12" and larger. Ergonomic Cap Design and Adjustable Tension The large ABS caps provide an ergonomic grip for hand tightening and distribute pressure across the tile surface during leveling. An adjustable tightening system accommodates tile thicknesses from approximately 1/8" to 13/16", while the 1/4" thread connects the cap to the leveling strip. Reusable Caps for Floor and Wall Tile After the adhesive has set, the leveling system is removed by impact in the direction of the grout joint. The caps can then be unscrewed from the separated strips and reused on future installations.
