Formed millions of years ago inside Lookout Mountain, this 145-foot underground cascade is locat ed more than 1,120 feet beneath the surface. It was accidentally uncovered by chemist-explorer Leo Lambert during the drilling of an elevator shaft in 1928. He named it in honor of his wife, Ruby.
